Space Shuttle Endeavour finally launched! I was lucky enough to be there, with my Joe. We had made the trip two weeks prior and had just made it to Kennedy Space Center when we learned the launch had been scrubbed.
We did a whirlwind trip to see it this time. Left SC at 6am Sunday, drove to Florida, ate lunch at the Dolphin View restaurant in New Smyrna (very good!!), got a hotel room, watched Road House with Patrick Swayze, got some sleep, woke up at 4am Monday morning, got breakfast, drove out to KSC, and watched a launch!
It's been a dream of mine since I was little to see a space shuttle launch. I am exceedingly glad that I was able to do this!

This is the launch I lost a nights sleep over. >_< I wanted to see the peoples get in the shuttle. I was so tired.
